in fact it is really an art work, she succeeded in make you react throughout several comments, in a basic way, almost animal, about the nudity and innuendo. the photo itself is not the greatest pictorial research, I admit, but it reveals the extremely sexualized vision of some. But i agree, this picture was not good :frame inconsistent, it is not understood if she looks the door or gutter, the composition is poorly made and the intention is nonexistent. ok there is a work on the reflection of light creates the shadow on the wall, but it's so messy that I have noticed it in reading a com. a bit of photoshop wouldn't been too much.
the limit of art is the artist himself, nothing else.

There's plenty of art on this website and on the main page everyday. Stuff like this shows up because it's what people want to see. And you say that artistic talent goes down the drain which is entirely false. Everyday on the main page I find some kind of abstract art or just regular stuff that I like. Artistic talent doesn't go down the drain, but if you're new to the site and you're trying to get your art out there, of course you're going to get drowned out. Those people who you see on here that get their art featured everyday have most likely been here since the site came into existence or damn near it. So while this specific photo may not be considered "art" by you, other people may think so.

Somehow I think it would've looked times better if her shadow was more defined. As is, it's pretty faded and acts more as a distraction for me :/ I think it's the pose that did this, though I've never messed around with lighting before so what do I know?

As was I. I always do my best to look at every detail individually, then take a step back and look at it as a whole. It was at that point that the shadow she cast on the wall looked out of place, almost like it was photo shopped but wasn't. I didn't intend to fire any shots, just trying to give some constructive criticism, though I probably failed at this point...
