Maybe Geno and this Luma are just talking to each other in the language of the stars, or perhaps they are one and the same? Unless Nintendo and Square ever settle their differences and allow Geno to officially return, we may never know...The Latin Phrase on the band in front of his cape:
"EGO SERVITVRVS SVM A SVPERIORE AVCTORITATE"
I believe translates to one of Geno's most famous lines:
"I Serve a Higher Authority"

Thanks! It did end up having a creepier vibe than I was initially going for, but when you really think about it, a talking wooden puppet toy would be kind of super creepy, like Chucky from Child's Play. Thank goodness he was a good guy
