Description
Graphite on bristol board, mostly 2H and HB (all the dark shading is .7mm HB mechanical pencil -- pentel leads are really great). Minimal blending.I added in the rest of the hair from the last portrait -- which at the very least was good practise. Comparisons with the previous version welcomed! [Now in Scrap]

I really like this. The detail in the hair is very good. The only question I have is how white the face is. It almost looks washed out. But it is an excellent drawing!

Wow, that artist is good. I have to admit to liking the drawings of hers that have more tones in the skin but she definitely has her own style and is very good at it. I had debated if I should have said anything about your face because I have seen other artists who draw with no skin tone. The pictures are gorgeous but I must admit to missing skin tones. I have to work very hard at that myself and want to just leave things more simple, but I also want realism in my drawings. So no criticism of your work, believe me. It is great and you did a good job.

Thanks! Well I've been painting landscapes for a while in watercolour and oils... but the portraits I have been doing for about 4/5 months now
