Oftentimes her peers are found socializing over a meal, while Sahel prefers to keep to her own. When she isn't working, she is often found amongst nature; where she finds her studies and observations of healing plants most entertaining. Though she is open to companionship, she is rarely seen opening up or being very free-tongued around her friends and colleagues. It is difficult for Sahel to truly relax and find peace, though she would tell you she has found it with your company. Furthermore, her job will often come before others and she finds it an inner conflict as she is divided between being compassionate and being a hard worker. Sahel was born the youngest out of three of her male siblings. Although she was raised well, especially by her mother, her family was predominantly encompassed by warriors and hunters who had hoped for a similar future for her. As she observed her family come in and out of shaman tents as their jobs so often required, she felt inspired by the ingenuity and versatility of the medics within Usiku.
It wasn't long before she studied under the careful watch of shamans and trainees as her love for botany and healing grew. Sahel was regarded at an early age as someone who could be seen with a straight face in a time of humor, which assuaged her from the more popular of her peers. However, this didn't stop Sahel in her mission...
