I was fooling around with this image in the program I use to make kaleidoscopes and this is how it turned out when I added more numbers to bring it out a little better. I have to say that this one really reminded me of a snowflake so that was the title I gave it. I absolutely adore the snow. We have had our first real snowstorm this year but did not get a chance to really get out there and take some photos of the trees as it was impossible to walk easily through it all then the next couple of days that were not that cold it seems that the snow was already started to melt. Someone from the apartment building in which I live decided to make a snowman out in the garden which I was planning to take a photo of but with all the horrific winds he lost his identity as everything went flying away. LOL I really hate when winter comes to an end as it seems in New Jersey we really got cheated last year because only two inches of snow fell which was disappointing. I remember how great the winters used to be growing up. Almost every Christmas you had snow. I hope you all like this one as much as I did. I want to also thank my watchers and friends and anyone in advance for any faves and want to tell you all how much I appreciate all your support. I am very grateful.

Snow

In the dead of night,

All is empty,

Moon shining brightly down,

Staining the ground white.

Stars combine to send,

Something similar to them.

Drifting, through the air,

Come snowflakes,

Big and small,

Falling down,

Melting when they touch,

The soft, warm ground.

For they have never felt

The warmth of love,

Even though they always come,

They never stay too long,

Yet when you shape one of many

To your heart's content...

They will stay

As long as they can,

Capturing ground under ice,

Leaving imprints that they were there

Once a long time,

A long time ago.
