I happen to have this enormous fear of things popping out from the depths of the lake while I'm swimming.
Congrats, this piece has made that fear worse. xD
Aside from that, I love the detail, and especially the way you did the teeth and the 'grin'.

Reminds me very much of some of Giger's concept work on the Alien. Jeez, that is one scary looking fish. I like the attention to detail, including the hints of saliva on the tongue (which on a related note, the bobbles on the side are an interesting touch).
