Well I was up at 4:30 AM this morning to bring him to the airport and see him off. It was all I could do to stop myself from sabotaging all of the alarm clocks we had set to wake us up at that ungodly hour. Not because I didn't want to wake up at 4 AM, even though I didn't and never want to again, but just so I could keep him for a little longer, a few more minutes, hours, days, weeks, months...........years?? It was such a wonderful weekend, was it wrong to wanting it to last a bit longer? But alas he's gone now, left on a jet plane to warmer planes, valleys and mountains that is California leaving me in a longing state, longing for more Chase. What a showman, always leaving 'em wanting more as they say in LA.Related content

A touch of resignation on his part as well. Goodbyes are really tough when you love someone.....I hope for your sake that this isn't the end of what you've had together.

Just finished reading the description behind the photo - it is always nice to see a personal connection to an artists work, something that is reflective of their feelings at the time etc - makes the piece that much more meaningfull in my opinion.
This is a gorgeous portrait - the depth created by the fast aperature is perfect and gives the piece a very nostalgic / classic feel. Throw in the duotones and you have something that is timeless.
