Woo-hoo, another commission to check off the list! 8DHonestly I'm quite proud of how this turned out. I challenged myself with a pretty difficult interaction scene and honestly it inspires me to do more~ 8D
Anyway, I TOTALLY revitalized the lineart from the WIP in my scraps, and added a simple background because I didn't want them awkwardly floating around.
To the commissioner, I'm really sorry if I missed any details...a lot of the details in the refs were quite subtle so I probably missed some here and there. If you spot any, I can fix it right up.

Anyways this is one of the things that reminded me to ask you about the time you take to ink stuff, like seriously, ITS AWESOME the way you ink stuff, like GAHHH! Especially the hair and the variation in thicknesses and glaksjdfklasjdfkl It's so goarjusssssssssssssssssssssssss

You're quite good at drawing detailed characters, in particular the way you've drawn the finer ruffles in their hair and clothes look great. The poses you've got them in also look very natural and relaxed, and I like how embarrassed Ruby looks to have Gold cuddling up to her like that (hope those names are in the right order XD.) The stone wall idea is a nice one, gives me the impression that the two of them are out at a park or some such place. Lovely work, Juli <3

This looks fantastic, love the skinny lines! Their expressions are adorable, and kudos to you for adding in a background! I find that to be the hardest part usually.

Hawwww...it took probably only 1/50 of the time I spent on the characters. XP I might add in some flowers or other nature to spruce up the cutesy romantic atmosphere, since the cracks take some away.
