Today I lost my very best friend!My dog, Rocko, had to be put to sleep this morning!
He had been doing worse & worse ever since yesterday, his circulation & heart really giving him more than a hard time!
We saw he was just too exhausted already, he couldn't even get to his feet properly, anymore & so, we decided it's best to allow him to go!
I miss him like hell, afterall, he was like my brother, always at my side!
Love you & always will!

I'm so sorry. I know exactly how you feel. It's such a hard decision to make. We had to put my dog, Mocha to sleep on Wed, Sept 20th. He just kept getting sick over a week and a half, drinking lots of water just to throw it up and losing weight. It turned out he had diabetes and would have been too much of a strain to treat him, then he'd have to get insulin shots every 12 hrs for the rest of his life and gone blind within 2 years. It's so hard, but I believe they're in a better place now. Take care.

i am so sorry to hear about this, but i know the feeling. We had to put our dog down last year and it was hard losing a best friend (and like you said, something of a brother as well) of 13 years. You did the right thing, at least he's not in pain anymore *huge hugs* I hope you're alright.
