Right around when I got out of college, I pretty much stopped drawing. From the summer of 2010 until the beginning of 2011, I wasn't really making any art for myself, and the occasional thing here or there for money or family or what have you...From January 1st, 2011 until October 31st... we'll say a 10 month period, I produced about 150 "pieces"... this is a rough count scrolling through a folder, due to duplicates and what have you it's most likely less. And the content of these goes from, like, porn into, weird color blob exploration.
From Nov 1st to today, roughly a 5 month period, I've made about 200 pieces of pony art. It might be a bit less for the same reasons, unless you started counting individual comic frames and such. Then it'd be quite a bit more.
Yada yada I had some sort of point, but this was the first piece of pony art I drew, before making the MLP/Superjail crossovers. I figured it was probably a good time to upload it. October 31st, 2011...
My hand's never been happier.

Nice girls like Flutter Shy are too shy to go outside. If they survived being bullied they may have developed some sharp teeth by college to defend themselves. They don't like being taken advantage of. Flutter Shy took me longest to grow on me out of all the MLP FiM characters. Reminds me too much of old self. But look harder, THEY ARE STILL HERE! I see them all the time.

I was working with blobs of color at the time, so blobs of pastel colors was quite fun. I wasn't even doing undersketches at this point XD

Ha ha, are you guys serious? "LordDragox" had it right. There are a sh*t-ton of girls like Fluttershy. They're the girls you DIDN'T develop a crush on. The ones you overlooked. Nice-guy or jerk - they all ignore the shy, keeps-to-herself girl in the corner. Try befriending one sometime. If you're too shy yourself, try using RAK as an excuse. (Random Acts of Kindness - giving people a random small gift or as a group, doing a favor for someone. Some schools have these as a club.)
Ha! Maybe pony fans should make a pony-themed RAK club! Random Ponies of Kindness? You can cut cardstock paper into fourths and make your own postcards. 32 cents! Instant Ponygram!

Most of girls like this are shy introverts, so they go to school/job and come back home through the shortest path. They don't like to be in large groups and they don't go to their friends too often. Just because you can't a girl like Fluttershy doesn't mean they don't exist. True, most of them change because they can't resist the pressure of people that yell at them to change because they're "strange, something's wrong with them, withdrawn from social life" etc. You would never expect how hard it is to life that way. I can tell that because I'm a guy just like Fluttershy. There are plenty girls like that, but it's nearly impossible for two shy persons to talk to each other. Also, you can see only how someone looks by looking at them, you won't ever know their character that way (eventually - look for people that stay out of groups, like to be alone, don't talk to others too much). The only way to find it out is to talk with that person. If you're looking for a girl like this just because she's "cute" - please, don't. They're really fragile, and if your love to them won't be true, by breaking their heart you can even kill them. To love them truly you need to live for them, not for yourself. In return you will recive love that will last forever, that will be greater than you could recive from any other person. You'll see that you will be happy together. I can tell all that because my character is just the same way. I'm also looking for a girl like me so I can tell how hard it is. All we need in life to be happy is love. Outside we can seem just like anyone other, but inside we're made of gold. Without love, our everyday is a battle to survive. If you care what others say about you - you will lose. We must stand our ground strong and don't let others decide for us, don't let them change us, do things that are against our personality. But while doing that, we must not forget who we are and what our personality was to begin with. Well, in internet we're much more talkactive than in real life so it's also good way to find us ;]
tl;dr "Do not judge a book by it's cover" - there are more people like Fluttershy than you can imagine, they just like to hide in the shadows.
