She is Nintendo’s most popular princess, and possibly the most well known video game damsel in distress. Every other game in the Mario series involves her being kidnapped by Bowser, who then takes her away. Mario must then rescue her at all cost. It might be cheesy, but it’s made Mario’s entire career. The “save the princess” routine might be overshadowed by games nowadays, but it’s still fun to do from time to time. Saving Princess Peach never seems to get old.

She has also been known to have a very competitive spirit, most evident in the Mario Kart series. I’ve seen her not only dodge a homing red shell, but redirect it so it slams into my backside! She has even dodged attacks at point-blank range! This competitive nature carried over in the Smash Bros. series. It made me not like her for a very long time. It reached a point where if I was asked to rescue her, I’d ask for a large amount of money first.

Then I played her in Brawl trying to unlock some trophies. She has a taunt that made me smile. Pressing left/right on the control pad will cause her to sing and dance. That taunt makes my day, but only if she’s on my side; the vein in my forehead appears otherwise.

All arguments aside, Peach is still one of the most recognized princesses of all time, and Mario's Special One.

I found her to be the perfect birthday present for . I found many pictures of this princess in her faves, and it inspired me to draw Peach. It seems that Mario as asked for her hand in marriage!

I loved how Peach's dress was designed on Brawl, and I found cosplaying as her on here. She gave me her permission to use it for a drawing reference, though I did change her arm and hand positions.
