Just when I thought Sailor Moon villains couldn’t get any sexier. One look at Black Lady, and I was quickly proven wrong.

Queen Beryl was definitely hot, but could anyone top her? It was inevitable. Naoko Takeuchi is an expert at drawing beautiful women. But when she created Black Lady, I think she hit the jackpot! I’ve seen hundreds of beautiful cosplays and fanart of her, and when she was introduced late in Sailor Moon Crystal, I wanted to draw her. She appears during the second half of the R season, but as of this writing, it isn’t out yet, despite the fact she is pictured on the back cover of the DVDS.

She’s got it all in terms of beauty: a beautiful youthful face, gorgeous red eyes, a long deep red dress with a slit on the side showing off her amazing legs, and a body that nobody could resist. She could easily give Cinder Fall a run for her money to see who has the best legs among them. Add Rosalina and Samus Aran in a skirt and I’ll likely have to be escorted from the room to seek medical attention.

This is what happens to Chibi-Usa when Wiseman brainwashes her and changes her into a young adult. As far as I’m concerned, she is going to become a stunning woman whenever she grows up. Too bad she won’t ever grow up. Even if she did, and was not corrupted to be evil, she’ll still be beautiful once she reaches Black Lady’s age (which I’m guessing appears about late teens, early 20s). How funny would it be if she went to prom in that outfit?

I made a horrifying discovery when I started coloring this picture. I own hundreds of colored pencils, and not one of them is that shade of dark red of her dress! Fortunately, I have markers, and I did have that color among them, and it didn’t bleed through the paper. It did look a bit messy after it was colored, so I smoothed it out in Photoshop. It looks like real fabric now! Her hands didn’t give me too much trouble, but the veil she has wrapped around her arms almost made we want to tear it off and burn it! It wasn’t inked because it’s translucent, and translucent objects aren’t given dark outlines in anything. That wasn’t the hard part. Trying to make it lay on her left arm was the hard part! Her legs were also troublesome.

I’d like to draw her again someday, possibly based on her appearance in the original series.
