Great look for Psylocke.
What is your favorite part about how you created this with color?

All of it is my favourite lol. The only downside of painting things is that it takes longer. It's very therapeutic.

I am in the middle of a Gambit and Rogue piece. I want to do this one justice so it's going to take longer and I want to learn some new techs before I post it.

If you're in the learning stages with colouring, mimic your heroes. Look at David Stewart,
FCO Plascencia and John Rauch. Look and their colour palettes, shadow and highlight placements. If you keep referencing your favourites while working you stress a whole lot less.

How do you get their colors into your program and match what it originally was? I tried to do that on my He-Man and She-Ra one and it didn't seem to completely match.

Don't worry about it matching exactly. Approximates are just fine. Take your time with learning. On weekends or when you have free time go through a tutorial once a month. See what little things you can pick up to help your workflow. The more you do the better you get just like going to a gym.
Here are some of my favourites:

One thing I can recommend is using a mid-tone purple\blue colour for shadows. Set the layer to "multiply" around 60% opacity
One layer using a mid-tone brownish\yellow colour for highlights. Set the layer to screen and turn the opacity down to however how much light is in the scene.

I had been working with the Multiply layer like you said, but didn't think about the highlights like you suggested.

I think the Capcom/x-men games made me love this character. Ahhh, the good old days of the arcade!

It's true, those Capcom arcade games totally refreshed and enhanced all those Marvel characters!

hehe, I remember Art Adams selling original sketches of her at comicon. You know before she got turned into a Ninja by the Hand, Manderine and Mojo with Jim Lee Art
