Finished this painting in the very early morning hours of Easter Sunday. Moon motif and the the highlights of the crest, dresses and jewelry have been adorned with touches of iridescent gold paint.Related content

I'm not into S Moon, but I will say this came out great! You know how to do a tux! And the chair being a matching color I feel adds to it.
(Other than maybe hair dye and contacts, I guess the daughter was genetically spliced or something.XD)

Thank you. I had a hard time deciding a color for the chair, but then I realized another color would of really created a distraction. It was hard enough dealing will all that pink hair. So I settled for the red to make it more subtle.

That's a nice way to wrap up the day, must say. The extra touches add a nice sense of subtle flair to the finished piece. As always I admire your lighting and texture work put into the different areas of the painting. Came out very well, and hah, I love that little cat creature that girl is holding. Amusing expression to break up the more elegant vibe of the composition.

Thanks! Disappointed to say that despite the want for it, this piece didn't fair so well at the San Diego Comic-Con Art Show. Oh well, there's always next year. The other pieces in my anime line (Dragon Ball, Naruto and Spirited Away) faired much better.
