So when Elsa snow-magicked a dress in the movie I have to admit that I disapproved. I love the dress, don't get me wrong, it's gorgeous it just . . . Β it doesn't fit in the movie. It doesn't fit the styles of Arrendale we've seen before, which always annoyed me.So I comprised this one. It has the transparent layers and colors of Elsa's dresses and then the more ribbon-y fashion that Anna wears for the coronation. It's still freeing and less constricting than her old dresses, but ti also fits in the fashion of Arrendale. So yeah

I saw it as more of Elsa freeing herself from the expectations and confinements of her old life. She was tired of being the 'perfect girl' and wanted to be true to herself, which is what I saw in her new outfit. Just my interpretation, but I love your design

Yes, she was freeing herself, but she also didn't aline with the styles of her country. There is no way she would have been able to create her own fashion like that growing up with bodices and skirts. She still freed herself - no tight sleeves or gloves, room to move, hair down - but in the style of arrendale which even though she left behind she still felt connected to, which is shown by her mindset of still wanting to protect her sister.

Yes! Exactly1 It looked liek some weird casino hostess garb for a winter festival... I mena it was pretty but it was also soooo out of place.
