Description
Everyone has an image of a place in their head before they've even actually seen the place. This picture is more or less exactly what i pictured when i thought of Canada hence the title My Canada.Camera: Nikon D80
Lens: Sigma 10-20mm
Shutter: 1/8s
Aperture: f11
ISO: 100
This shot is a double exposure. I exposed once for the sky and once for the foreground and merged the shots together.

We didn't stay in that exact accommodation, we were close by though, A quick walk brought me to the top of the hill.

where exactly this was taken i no longer remember however it was taken somewhere in jasper national park in the province of Alberta.

Sure i'll join and i'd be willing to submit as well. I am however unsure of the task of a contributor. I am personally a rather engaged in some of my other clubs alongisde of my studies so i do not have time to be anything more than a member who submits photos.

Very good shot, but a little too dark for me, I would prefer it with more sunlight and shadows. But capture itself is really nice.

there were quite a few people around at the time. It was very close to a campsite, so right next to where i was taking my pictures you had an elderly couple in chairs just enjoying the landscape and several youths skipping stones and what not close to the river. I believe there was another couple with cameras just fooling around and taking snapshots.
Only two people show up in the frame though, the guy in the read sweater is one of them. Usually i find people in the frame to be a bit of a pain, but i agree i think it adds a little to the image.

One of the best nature picture I have seen in a very long time!
The western part of NB has some amazing places to visit and take pictures. I am from the East and I have visited BC before and it's stunning!
