The lines look a little rough, but since you said it's a sketch I'm going to guess that's what you're fine with! While reducing fingers does make for faster doodling, now for some reason I expect Xelloss to wind up with anisodactyl feet for hands...
I like the pose, it seems well balanced, like, he's not going to topple over, it seems rather confident.
As for the shading on his cloak, did you use a screentone/pattern or did you draw the hatching in yourself?
Also, nice work retaining the white lines in the black pants.

yeah I did this all freehand; and I was pressed for time so I did cheat on the hands (admittedly)I was going to practice some white on black stuff but..again, time. I have to get this chapter up... ...
