did u go to Asia? Or are u talkin bout Dubai? Try the Sushi in East Asia and try the quality and see the prices then talk

i studied in malaysia for 4 years remember?
the type my friends buy from the supermarket is quite normal.. in the restaurants.. even the 'fast food' type of joints.. they taste a lil better.. price range depends on how much u eat.. cos the prices are diff for the diff types.. one piece can range from RM1-RM5 (at the 'fast food' type of sushi places.. in the posher restaurants its more expensive).. so it all depends on how much u eat to fill u up.. also i'm taking into consideration the cost of living there.. a meal for 20-30 bucks in middle east would be 'normal' but in Malaysia its considered a bit more on the expensive side..

Well I was in Malaysia just a few months ago, I had the dinner of my life in "Sushi King" and ended paying around 40 RM!

that's wht i mean!!! sushi king isnt really considered as one of the posher restaurants! its maybe a notch higher than mc d's!! it just all depends on how much you eat! whenever my friends used to go they'd end up spending max of 20 and they would feel its expensive! whereas for us over here tht's abt the same price u'd pay for a meal at mc d's!

whats the diff in eating sushi somewhere posh? its still sushi! as long as its fresh! and beleive it or not, sometimes the cheaper places serve better food, here I am talkin bout Egypt and Saudi Arabia
