Here's another commission of one of my planned characters for Naruto's Monstrous Daily Life!, this one done by , who did the pictures of Saboten, Moreno, Aria, Thera, Mallory, Fremont, and Chichi. Jun is a bit of a shut in, spending most of her time in her room studying and researching to accomplish her goal. What is that goal you may ask? Well, that's not something I can tell you just yet She's a rather anti-social girl who isn't overly fond of "hanging out" with others. She's not overly expressive, but if one pays attention, they can feel a cold fury near constantly radiating from her. Perhaps this has something to do with her goal?

I named her Jun after Jun Tao from Shaman King, a series I am quite fond of. In the series the Tao family, and Jun in particular, were known for their use of Jianshi as well as their variable army of them.

Originally, Jun was just a normal Jianshi with a very different personality. However after reading a review of the Dragon Zombie from MGE on this one blog I follow where they mention it's a shame we most undead creatures are usually made from humans, I thought "huh, that's a good point" and decided to change what kind of species Jun was made from. I chose to make her a Lamia for two reasons. First, I had already cut out the two Lamia subspecies characters I had originally planned due to having a hard time defining their personalities and second, I thought "the Lamia tail helps counteracts the Jiangshi's inherent joint stiffness problem" as a good in-universe explanation for her creation.
