Thanks Eddie. Probably my favorite place in Colorado but you have to early or late in the day before the shadows are gone. Now that I know it's dog friendly I'll be getting down there more. Definately next spring when there is some water in Medano Creek and i'll have to see about this winter. I hate the cold and snow but I'll bet it would look pretty good with some snow.

If you ever get back try for May or early June when you have water in Medano Creek. It really adds to the experience.

It's a little darker than real life but I like the way it brought out the ridges in the sand. And I've found there is usually enough wind to clear the slate of footprints over night. Then I just have to beat the crowd.

I've never managed to beat the crowd yet... I've always had to walk quite a bit to get half a chance for a shot.

I like it slightly dark like this. it does seem to bring out more detail.
