Voodoo girl and zombies. Color pencils on drawing paper.Not all that fond of how this paper holds the color and the visible texture the drawing has as a result. Should make a mental note of that for future reference.

i enjoy seeing your stuff in color. the pose is wonderful and there's a lot of magic going on. i appreciate your attention to curves. the texture of the colored pencil on the paper is something that separates it from the slickness of photoshop, giving it a texture and tangibility. the way that you've stylized the clouds is also something i enjoy seeing--no one else would have drawn those clouds the same way as you. that's one of the main things that i love about your stuff. i can see it's a JR piece even before i see the tag with your name under it. Kudos as usual, man.

This was drawn on a small pad of Canson medium tooth drawing paper that I got on sale some time ago. I'd been doing most of the brush pen/water color pencil drawings on it but for a solely color pencil piece I think I prefer the Strathmore recycled sketch pad I used for the AutumnSong drawing.
