Description Drawn as a gift for my mother, whose birthday is today. She'll not actually see this until tomorrow though when I arrive back in Ohio for a short trip. She had been trying to get me to draw her a bird picture similar to a set of postcards/notepads she likes for a couple of years now and this year I finally have.

Used [link] as a starting reference and then took some artistic license in order to match mom's taste a bit more.

Various types of color, water-color, and super-color pencils used.

Someone else was telling me that I should do more of this sort of thing just the other day. I think I would like to, it's certainly fun (and challenging) to spread out and do different things.
