Wasn't sure where to put this... cus she got no eyes.. so i guess that goes into the macabre/horror section... but she has wings and its to.. i dunno pretty i suppose so i put it in Fantasy.. anyway, wings overule eyes... cus they bigger
This is Marissa, i decided to do a poem about her.. story i suppose, what happened to lead to her suicide and the murder of her fiance and his lover... naughty man *tut tut* for once i havn't drawn her holding his heart because, ah hah! 'she keeps it in a silver box' cept when shes feeling depressed... it certainly is a conversation starter... but yeah, it feels weird not drawing her with a dripping heart hanging from her hands... gah! to many 'h' words ^-^; i'm feeling weird today 0.o
I did this iin marker pens... trying to practise... still not happy with my style, but i think this is the best yet, others have been basically block colours.. but i wanted this to be dreamlike so i had to go slower. I'. soo happy with her dress
i got the idea from the victorian underwear actually.. well female.. was it victorian or sometimes before that.. its either 18th or 19th century i'm sure... maybe late 19th... gah! i'm rambling again ^-^;; Enjoy!

this is a cool drawing! the way she has black eyes, and her dress looks sort of old fashion, and sepia adds a really cool affect to the picture! nice work!

i did try hard with this. i found that the pose was the easiest of the piece. I got so paranoid when choosing the colour combinations.. i think i ended up with Vanilla and Lavender, never thought they would work so well together
