A paper map! We are not lost!
Wait...and a book in print!

TWO BOOKS!

Your Streets always have interesting aspects, JD, but this shot surpasses most. There are just so many things to catch one's eye.
A few of those things which intrigue me.
Choice of footwear: With one couple She has the sandals & He has the "sensible" footwear. That's reversed with the other couple.
Interaction: One couple appears to be actively engaged while the other couple are each in their own thoughts.
The way the road runs from the open, airy bridge into the dark, confined tunnel (and vice versa).
The monotone and washed out background reminds me of that drained feeling that one can have after hours trekking in the heat.
I like the physical shape of the location and the little detail of the Cardinal Compass Points embedded in the floor.
My one and only dislike is the tiny, annoying intrusion in the extreme upper right corner.

Thanks a lot Ralph.
Footwear: I don't know for them, but we walked from the sea level to this place, and it was quite a hike, with almost 300 meter vertical drop. So flip flops or other sandals are not recommended! So my guess is that they took a cab. One couple looks to be very look-aware. In the older one, only Mrs seems to care!
The interaction part speaks loud. And is not so encouraging for older couples!
The highway and tunnel, in contrast with the hiking shoes and the map is what caught my attention.
Now for this indeed annoying intrusion in the upper right corner, shall I confess that I hadn't noticed it until you told me. I am desperately not a detail person. I feel a photo rather than analyzing it, and sometimes I am happy with the result, more often I am dissatisfied. That's true when I shoot, that true again when I browse on the computer. I fly from one image to the next in seconds. I process my images in less than 3 minutes. But of course, now that you tell me, I should have cropped that little leaf on top right! Thanks again, Ralph. Take care!

One couple looks to know where they're going; the other couple is concerned about where they've been.

wonderful shot - very scenic - and all the people are wearing hats - and none of them is looking at a phone!
