Ugh... I hate this picture. Never really intended on finishing it.. but I just kept picking at it in my spare time. And now I guess it's done. But yah... I'm happy enough with it but it's just so frustrating e_e I looked at it so much, I don't even know what I'm seeing.Related content

Oh, don't hate! It's beautiful. His expression is wonderful, I love his hair, the lighting on his skin is gorgeous and his lips are beatifully, kissably soft looking. The only thing I think looks a little off is his left eyelash- it sort of doesn't look as though the lashes are actually on his eye, but rather, on his eyelid. But that's the only quirk I see. The rest is just fantastic!

yah, I know what you mean :C It's actually probably a result of the shading behind the lashes being so black.. it wasn't supposed to be black but I ended up playing with the levels too much afterwards.. and then I was just like "screw it, I'm done" XD But maybe I'll fix it later <_< So glad you like it, thanks very much for the comment!

Wow. It's not very often you create something this realistic. Usually you have a more cartoon edge to your pieces. And I'm really struggling with how to put my thoughts.. lol. I'm sorry. I really like his hair and eyes though. Especially the eyes... so pretty.. Haha. Okay. I'm done rambling.

well, I dunno about you, but I totally dig the shading. I've always admired your skill at shading faces in particular, something I'm still struggling with.

An artist is thier own worst critic. It looks good, but sometimes, getting anoyed with a piece, or having trouble with it can make you dislike it. It's simple, but it comes off as a nice portrait shot. The clean look sans lines is great. I'm still on shakey legs on that department.

It's cool, but they just don't look quite right on Jordan...not with that style of eyes. But that is just my opinion. It's fine if you don't go by it. I still like the pic.

Tara--you need to stop making everyone look so bad with your great stuff. I really like it. Very soft and...I dunno. But, it's there, and it's amazing, as usual. He's got very feminine eyes, and long eyelashes, that give him a softer expression.
