The sword in his hand is his Zanpaku-to in sealed form and it's called:
Ryushin no Tsubasa (Dragon God's Wing)
The hook is his own little trinket which he usees to cling to walls and such without having to form reishi under his feet.

Yes, theres 2: Final Fatasy 7: Advant Children, continues the storyline and the other is FF: Spirits Within which is its own little story, still made by Square Enix though....
