Like benzene its all greasy and hydrocarbony

I don't know why, but this just failed me in so many ways. At some point I thought I had a nice effect with this fractal, but it was too localized and there was too much negative space, so i went back, rendered it agiain and got this...

Postwork was also a nightmare,all the details seemed dull and the color scheme is vomitish (Anything not bright and colorful is vomitish for me) I think postwork saved it somewhat, but now it has this strange grain that I hust don't like.... Ignore it and its ugly.
