digital pinhole camera (pierced cap+special foil+Olympus E-1 - aprox. f/44), using ~10-20 AC flash firing (1000Ws flash with an umbrella) one by one. Shutter speed around ~15 sec or something about that.

It's a normal digital SLR, but with cool perk - it can clean the sensor by itself. I have it for years and there's no dirt... So I can do crazy stuff like that.

Every from modern E series has it. E-1, E-300, E-330, E-400, E-500, E-410, E-510.
You just need to unplug lens, add a body cap (with the hole in it - and making such hole is stuff for whole another article) and You're ready to rumble.

Then maybe You're good to make a IR conversion on Yours ? I don't really know older digital models... But some early Olympus cams are good for IR crazy stuff.
Yup. I don't want to pay for piercing a bit of plastic, when I can do it by myself. The best results are, my friend said, from laser or water cut metal plate.
