Description The spirit of Aippaq  itself leads your tokota to the mountainous Ridge of Elders  to personally commend their wisdom and leadership with a gift. This gift can be a long-lost trinket from your tokota's puphood, healing herbs for an ailing friend/relative, a short visitation from the spirit of a deceased loved one, or anything else of emotional value.

---
Freezing. The air was bitter cold, biting into the sphinx toki's skin. They shivered, lost and alone. Why they had wantered out into the mountains, they did not know. Something drew them there. A powerful force, much more so than the dark and twisted spirit Cockatrice had seen only days before. This force, however, did not feel malicious. It pulled the toki further into the mountains and snow, into the blizzard.

His paws felt frozen, little balls of snow clumping up and getting stuck between his toes. It was uncomfortable, and the air was chilling his lungs. He wanted to turn back, to give up, abandon the pull he felt to the peak of the mountain he was in the middle of climbing. Mere moments later, the black sphinx saw a glow beginning to form in the distance. He called out to it, perhaps a fellow traveler, perhaps someone lost that needed assistance. A human would not last long in the weather surrounding, no matter how many skins and pelts they wrapped themselves in to keep warm. The strong gusts of wind from the skies above made sure even the most strong willed and determined of Tokotas felt cold. No one ventured into these lands. Not normally.

The glow grew brighter as Cockatrice pushed themselves through the snow. The cold powder brushing his belly, he bounded toward the light.
A ghost of a deer stood before him, tall, proud and stiff. Yellow eyes glowing brighter than its body, it tilted its head down just the slightest to gaze through the black sphinxki. Cockatrice stood still, frozen under the deer's gaze for what felt like hours. Seeming to find what it was searching for, the deer slowly turned and began making its way up the mountain. The deer carved a path in the snow for the toki, allowing him the chance to walk instead of half leap in order to make his way through.

The pair did not go straight up. Lifting its ghostly legs, the deer took them around the side of the mountain, down, around the side some more, up, across a frozen river. They traveled across the frozen land, avoiding the worst patches. They passed around parts of the mountain that were likely to collapse, cause an avalanche, and passed crevices where one could get injured or killed.
Finally, they succeeded in making it to the top of the mountain. Shivering, Cockatrice waited. The power they had felt before, the draw the experienced to the place was much more powerful. Only when a pair of glowing yellow eyes descended from the sky did Cockatrice understand.

A pale Tokota formed, trotting down from the stars. Cockatrice recognized the swirling designs on their shoulders as the same on the ghostly deer's. Aippaq themself had led him here. The God had brought them for a reason.

In awe, Cockatrice slipped into a sitting position. He bowed his head before the deity, praying.

In much more of a gentle voice than he expected from the God, Aippaq spoke, "Welcome, young one, to my Throne."
