Could have sworn I already posted this..but I can't find it in my gallery.Anyhow... painting with arcylic ( plus some colored pencil ) and an ink line drawing underneath.
The object was to take a story and illustrate it...with the end result showing a moral. (Aesop's fables' sort of situation. )
So, the mythical beast becomes tangled up in a disasterous mess while a potential rescuer idles nearby, too busy with her own selfish whims to offer aid.*Coughs*

I -love- this. I love the unicorn's expression, the poor thing looks so very frazzeled! Wonderful use of color and such beautiful details. Just a beautiful work, there's such great emotion and color to it. I would love to see more works like this.

Looks like it came straight out of a storybook! I love it! Especially the unicorn's expression! <3 The colors are so beautiful! The atmosphere is really great, the woman is completely oblivious and the poor unicorn looks so affronted/dejected. The fact that she's sitting -right- in front of him makes her seem even more selfish. Great job ^o^
