Well, actually, Lilith is a part of Morrigan...apparently when Morrigan was younger, she had a dangerous amount of power and to prevent her from accidentally killing herself, some of it was siphoned away. That later became Lilith. Eventually, apparently, Morrigan reabsorbs Lilith into herself, however.

i guess I've always liked the idea of them being sisters or its because i was around 8 when i started getting into the Capcom franchises and so maybe in my head i liked that idea of them being like sisters.. but i'm not good with titles and so i just went with that since i drew them embracing each other X3

Well technically they are sisters.
And they can be together in some crossover games like Namco X Capcom and Cross Edge.
