Description I saw the original (The bottom one, by SDkidd) and thought that the lighting was a little to cg.
So I did my own version (The top one) to see what I could do.

This was merely a light study. An attempt to make a comparison of more realistic lighting. My falloffs are actually more realistic. Although, his composition is better, this was not my intent.

Yeah i see how the glow has a more realistic look. C4D's Glow system(from what i have tried anyways. It ends up too bright) is its only down side to its rendering engine hence why i did a overall environment white with a single omni light casting the shadow.

But this is very nice, Good job man
