i think the cption should be saying: "perspective? fuck it."i mean it isn't horrible, but every little corner of this image is riddled with perspective-suck. this was started and finished in ink, so i had nothing else to guide me through it, also white out is not a substiture for white ink, wow it's difficult to control, but who knows, maybe i'll get better.

You know, sometimes you just gotta fuck the elements/principles and draw what your hand spits out. It's liberating.

dont let these nutbusters tell u the perspective is off. its fine. there are other composition things that might improve this. like other dude was sayin, u shoulda played with the smoke more, making the white of it fade into the white border of the pic. also u mighta wanted to play with the lighting a bit. the hatch lines are fine, but there is more u can do with them than just a 'T' corsshatch, if u see what i mean.

I think the perspective works fine in the sense that this has a sketch feel, with all free hand drawn lines and no rulers- which is it's own style. I'm just attracted by the atmosphere you've made here- it's very familiar to me living in the city, and also mysterious. I wonder where that is.

for the longest time i've had the chance to move up to new york and i have this fascination with it. i dunno. i went for a weekend back in comiccon and stayed with my brother, and to a certain extent i never left.

You seemed in a rush on this one, was it a contest with yourself?
What strikes me most is the hatching. I understand why you are using them (create an atmosphere) but by getting them everywhere, it juste doesn't fit.
I'm saying this because Iv'e got the exact same problem, so I tried to avoid them a lot (you can check my gallerie, I don't think you'll see them much 
Plus the light is kinda weird, I would have prefer a nice full black on the wall on the foreground.
But fact is, this way, the character (Constantine) has more importance (while in all black it would have seem he was hiding).
Oh, and the cigarette smoke. This is the kind of stuff you can do only in illustration (not on a movie nor a cartoon) : juste don't stop it

i like the idea of throwin the perspective rules out the window to an extent. it has a nice feel to it.
