Fantomex Agent of No One. An Homage to the classic Nick Fury cover by Jim Steranko. Done for The Line: It Is Drawn. This week's subject was just straight up Classic cover homages. Nothing too complicated. What WAS complicated was this damned cover. making all the different elements work was hell.enjoy!

i would love to read or DRAW a Fantomex series. first thing i'd do would be redesign him, bring him closer to his Fantomas roots.

Yeah? Not sur about that, I do love the first design he had during the morrison storylines (well I think he still has it, but with the uncanny X-Force he's got black dots all over his costume).
As long as he stays as cool as he is now, fine by me

i don't know. i just can't remove fantomex's design from Igor Kordey's art in his introduction. WOW that art was bad. I love the character and i can even keep the all white, but the actual clothes he wears don't do him much justice. Now i REALLY want to draw fantomex mini-series.

Love it! I think wolverine on the bike is my favorite moment, though Fantomex himself is looking resolute and bad-ass. I would also be remiss not to acknowledge the lovely miss 'locke, standing there checking out the swirly-ness.
Great job nailng all the details, (like your message to the code), but out of curiousity, what skyline did you end up using?

a picture i found of paris, since fantomex is faux-french i thought it suited him more than a random New york skyline. I'm glad you liked it! i was worried that people wouldn't pick up that that was wolverine. this was a strange piece, a lot of graphic design and some photo montaging. thanks!

Wolve's is pretty subtle, with the claws being his primary identifier. I tend to like him more Logan and less wolverine if that makes sense, so the image works completely.

Beautiful. Great composition, I would be scared to have everything overlap the way you did, but you seemed to make it work just fine. I love how the blue pops in front of the patterns.
