Description

Name meaning: Terrible Claw

Length: 4 m (13 ft)

Weight: 110 lb

Popularity: 3 stars

Period: Early Cretaceous

Found: USA (Cloverly Formation in Montana and Wyoming, Cedar Mountain Formation in Utah, Antlers Formation in Oklahoma)

This intelligent predator got its name for having a special sickle-shaped claw on each of its foot used to disembowel its prey.  It had a strong sense of smell and powerful eyesight not only to see prey from a great distance, but also to see through the dark.  Regardless of the prey’s size, it hunted in packs.

Nice and simple drawing. Thanks for calling them deinonychus and not "velociraptors", even though deinonychus are a type of raptor. Do you have a drawing referring to some "Jurassic World: Evolution" exclusive dinosaurs?

Thank you.

You must know that Deinonychus is bigger, more durable and more lethal than Velociraptor.

Do you mind sparing a minute to look at my dinosaur artworks in the folder titled Dinosaur Files? Some of the dinosaur species did not appear in Jurassic World: Evolution.

1. Don't worry. Everyone knows that the lethal pack hunters we know and love are Deinonychus. After a certain age, people knows that both Deinonychus and Velociraptor are types of raptors, but the lethal one is the former.

2. I'm checking your other dinosaurs files as we speak . Maybe you'd be the man who'll make the good people include archelon as the first JW:E marine reptile lol.

I will try like you suggested, but one voice will not be sufficient to convince Frontier to include non-dinosaur reptiles. You can be my watcher so that you can be notified for the artwork of the next 22 species.
