*edit: wings, left hand, ground. thanks for the help guys!another super fun character concept for this job i am trying to get, so far i think its going really well! i think all my hard work is about to pay off! oh and yes, her front leg is turning invisible, that is her skill/power, invisibility, and her eyes are supposed to be all black. hope you guys like her (=
i am also going to be doing a map for bushido-thegame.com (which i did the character concepts too!) so that is going to be a lot of fun.

i had a question, in relation to learning poses, proportion, and ultimately figure drawing. i have been struggling with trying to learn how to do so with out the aid of constant references and to no a vale, any tips techniques reference materials would aid me greatly, and feel free to check out my gallery to see what i mean, every thing done there is from a reference or many combined in sorta splicing action, i just wish to get better and have been hitting this wall for awhile. thx

try to learn the proportions of the body, and their size relations to each other. you can do this when your out doing other things, any time you are around people, observe their body structure. doing this at times when you are not drawing will allow you to construct poses without reference and increase your production speed when you are drawing. hope that helps, cheers!

I'm not going to lie but and call me narrow minded if you please but the concept really screams Sephiroth. I don't mean offence it's just the relativeness of it.
