It would've been even better if you'd gone the freaky biological accuracy route. Instead of being part shark your guy could've been of the type that changes sex when it loses a fight, or expects the other to be the chick when it wins. D:

I wanted so badly to do that.
But I was kind of selling these to the main stream anime fans, and as fun and entertaining that concept was, I didn't want to push that 'is that what these naruto fans are looking for in a comic?' If I had to continue, I'd imply that there are other quirks for different kinds of mer-people.
