Another random title. But the year's ending and the new one's beginning with the winter, so yeah. This picture accidentally became my new avvie (I was just testing the new avatar upload thing but instead of quitting, I saved it, haha). Well, I'll keep it ^^Well, most of you know, that tis is me or at least my wolfy-fied me ^__^ After I've finished the sketch, I posed in front of a mirror with my sword and drawed it to prove the accuracy of my picture. That's how your right hand's looking, when you're drawing a sword. Hahaha, I could tell you about many funny or odd kenjutsu stances XD
It's my winter ID-picture. Again a bit too late though

ok erstmal: ich liebe das bild x'D dein chara hat ja sowieso was für sich aber die pose und der hintergrund... X3 echt toll geworden!
(übrigens ...du hast meinen respekt was das benutzen von gimo angeht ...ich und gimp sind nämlich erzfeine x'D ...komischerweise spackt das bei mir immer rum ...aber nur wenn ich dransitze ...das is echt gruselig x'D)

Ehrlich?! XD haha, vielleicht ist dein GIMP ja auch eifersüchtig, weil du in einem anderen Programm so tolle Bilder zeichnest X3 Also ich mag es wirklich und komme super damit zurecht. Vielleicht aber auch nur, weil es mein erstes Grafik Programm war (und ist XD) Ich hab irgendwo mal Corell Paint ausprobiert und bin gar nicht damit zurecht gekommen -_-;

Gell?! Haha. Ich bin GIMP jedenfalls dankbar. Seit ich es benutze, habe ich angefangen, mich auch beim Zeichnen im Allgemeinen zu verbessern (und das ist noch gar nciht so lange her -_-;

nya ich arbeite ja größtenteils mit sai im moment ^^ (super programm btw ^^ fast nen photoshop ersatz o__o)

Sai?! 8D Ehrlich?! Das reizt mich und ich hatte mir die Testversion gedownloaded, aber dann habe ich nur so komische Kratzspuren zustande gebracht, egal mit welchem Pinsel. Leider ist die Testversion dann abgelaufen, bevor ich nochmal Zeit zum Ausprobieren hatte -_-; ist es also wirklich so gut?! Wenn ja, wäre es mir das Geld auch wert (bzw würde ich es mir zum Geburtstag wünschen XD haha! 8D

Es ist wirklich Klasse und bisher das einzige Programm, bei dem ich mit den Outlines zurecht komme (muss allerdings noch üben und mich mit allem anderen zurecht finden ^.^;

Haha, it's not as late as your autumn picture was, at least we still have quite a bit of snow to wait for.
The coloring and shading is so smooth, and something about the atmosphere feels real, like by staring at it, I feel cold evening air around me.
My brother also poses in front of mirrors a lot when drawing, mostly just to get the wrinkles in clothing just right.

I honestly thought the thumb on your right hand was off, so I tried it out with my katana. Haha, you're right. I would have thought the thumb would be turned more towards the hilt, but it isn't.
I may not be able to afford sword lessons, but at least I know how to draw it from the sheath!
It's not too late. Winter here lasts up until March. You have a couple of months left!

Drawing a sword is a very important part, so it's a big step in the right direction. When using a real katana, you could cutt your fingers, if you can't do it right. So you can be really proud.
Unfortunately I can't teach you anything via writing, I think but if you have any questions, just ask them ^__^
Right. I think, I'll draw my spring ID in the end of March and then I have four ID's for every season ^^

I do have a real katana, haha, it was a birthday gift from a group of friends. They all pitched in money to get it for me and is by far my favorite gift.
I learned how to properly draw and handle a katana before trying it out, that way I didn't ruin it or the sheath.
I don't really have any questions at the moment, but if I do, I'll ask.
What a cute idea! I know people who don't ever change their ID's, so it's neat to see that you make one for every season. ^^
