What program are you using to draw??
Better question is what are your computer specs? I'd love to know what exactly you're doing to manage this.Β
My computers fairly powerful and my Photoshop still craps out when opening for example a large vector .png

I use Photoshop CC, CS6 previously.
Working with a now oldish i7 2600, gtx970, 20GB RAM, and an SSD.

Did you have to do anything special to Photoshop to have it work this well? Alter a file or anything?Β

Make sure you've got "use graphics processor" checked and configured in the performance section in your preferences, and that you've allowed Photoshop to use a fair amount of your RAM (I'm doing ~12/20).
I bumped cache levels up to 8 and tiles up to 1028K as well.
I also turned off flick panning, because panning a large image is choppy regardless, so it's less noticeable if it doesn't pan for you.
Another thing was turning off rulers. There was a bug that's since been fixed (I think) that was causing some performance issues for some people.
Last thing for drawing at that resolution/with big brushes was turning on "show only crosshair while painting" in the cursors section.

I tried to zoom in... my browser crashed (and I've got 12GB of RAM haha). Also the first thing that came into my head when i saw this was "I'd equate all over that.." XD Which surprised me because I'm not... one of them... but it was too funny to just leave it haha.
