) I had a meeting in Auschwitz, Poland with some students from Poland and Germany. We had to talk about what happend there. A lot of inocent people died in that horrible place for no reason...

That must have been quite a difficult experience. I could never bring myself to visit those places - it hurts, and I wasn't even there, neither did I know the ancestors of mine that may have been there. But I always wondered why I had such a heart for the Jews (despite some of their obnoxious ways) until I discovered the truth about my lineage just before my mother died!
