"How can you build relationships if you keep building walls."This work has been inspired by one of my best friends, Justin Duwe, who is a relationship psychotherapist. That is probably the thing he says most every day.

Hey all! Thanks to all of you for all the comments and favs! I am quite surprised and honoured by the positive answer to this artwork. the inspiration for this comes from one of my best friend who always says that, and as he is working very hard to make his place in the psychotherapist crowd in London i just thought about illustrate him and his quote.

That's just the thing, isn't it? If you don't take that risk, you won't be able to build lasting relationships.
Granted I'm just a random person responding to your comment, see, but from my experiences, many people are really nice actually if you just open up to them.
That's not to say it's wrong to have your guard up (in fact it's not a good thing to just trust anyone and everyone all the time either), it's just that it's better to not have your heart on high security alert all the time, though... that's just my opinion.

Except I wouldn't keep building walls if people weren't idiots who constantly hurt me in various ways and forced me to build those walls in order to survive emotionally in this world.
Or at least that's how I'd reply to any shrink who said that to me XD
