I've got lots of different stuff, nothing really fancy/professional/expensive though. Some Faber Castell, some Lyra Osiris, others I don't remember, some obscure Chinese pencils from the 1980 (no kidding), lots of no-names... I don't really care about brands as long as the pencils "feel right". Here's a snapshot of some older material XD >>> [link]

Nicely used pencils in the link, loving your efficiency

I've been trying to stick with crayolas, might experiment with another relatively cheap brand when I wear these ones down enough. Great to see your work and hear that, colored pencils are coming back to my work now!

Efficiency.. haha.. yeah, I was actually expecting to get some of these stubs down to a length where it would be impossible to hold them any more. But for some reason I didn't have to sharpen them enough to achieve this "goal". So yeah, gonna stick with them a little longer XD

And I say YES, try out different brands and see which one(s) you like best. If you find some cheaper stuff that works for you, fine! And if not, well, just stick with crayolas. I guess there's nothing to lose ;D

Absolutely, thanks man! Shall be grabbing a new random inexpensive brand today to see if it works for me any better - it's all too easy to get stuck using what you start with, which could be the best thing, but you gotta try the rest to know right? Merci ^-^

ohyeah~! i -used- to colour fully in pencil, when i was younger & before discovering Markers.... they are the 'fill tool' of real media~ X'3
