Finally it's done. I've been working excessively on this. I'm glad I did this piece, because I learned a lot from it. Firstly, I learned how to make more detailed and textured nebulae. Also learned how to do proper lighting, and many other things. There was so much tweaking after I had initially finished it.I think this is a step-up for me, and i'm proud of it.
Please leave any comments/favs, i'd greatly appreciate it.

Such wonderful detail in this!! The brushing/technique on the nebula is exquisite, and the planet is wonderfully real. I like the terrain you used--very nice, and realistic [well, as sci-fi goes] as well! There seems to be a lot of turmoil...reminds me of some *alyn works...nice job.

This kind of reminds me of a dream I used to have when I was little. Th dream wasnt a good one but your image is beautiful. I love things having to do with fantasy and different worlds. I lvoe the contrasts between dark and light

You've done such an amazing job on this bud, the detail is simply amazing, i see that you've taken on alyns style, which is ok. Your terrain needs work on the textures, and the lighting on some of your planets seems a bit off, but other than that, this is an stunning image

The postworking around the satelite and the satellite itself looks nice- however around that the surface mapping looks really poor in some places. Besides that it is a complete cut and paste of Alyn's work with no originality so I wont take the time to comment on it.

I'd love to say no comment but that'd be saying something in itself, but I have to echo what some people have already said. It's got a lot of attributes very similar to my own "fate of atlantis", like another one of your pieces resembled "icarus's wish" (and people pointed that out too).
this isn't blowing my own trumpet, but you're going to have to strive away from that deja vu sense, because you simply can't learn from it.

Though honestly, the piece would have seemed better without the terrain on the bottom...I would have preferred the planet as stand-alone...but that's just my opinion. ^^ Not very original, but this shows you've greatly improved in your renders and detailing. I look forward to more of your artwork.

The only thing I want to point out is that the exploding-planet-stuff seems to be too "close" to your Terragen planet. I don't know why this is the case, and I can't explain that...

You added the rays effect as Alyn does eh. It's cool, but should be appearing more close to the supernova and shouldn't be appearing inside the atmosphere.... it looks weird there.
The sun seems to be stetched. I think you can fix it easily.
The man in the top of mountain is better in this way, but personaly I think it ruins the scale idea of you terrain.
I would suggest you to add somekind of base near the lake, to show where is the ship coming from. In the way it's right now, it looks lonely and senseless.
Very nice lines you added near the "ground satellite". I really would like to know if you painted it or where did you get it! Fits well there!
And finally a lil note about the stars. They looks a bit suble in some places, specially in the top right corner, and an less important thing is the lack of distant/less bright stars in some places.
