Well done! I think it's a really nice logo but then we have to figure out what to do about other releases. If it can be modified in some way so that it can be kept the same.

But how would it work with future releases (not named Luna)? Would the elementaryOS logo keep changing? Or would you have separate OS and release logo? Its a bit odd.

ahah, ok but that would kill this good concept for Luna, as it would banalize the most important feature in your logo. anyway, does that mean you would keep the logo, or would you redesign it a bit for each release?

The names come from Roman gods and goddesses which, coincidentally, were also used to name planets and moons. But when they come with a "planetless god", the metaphor will no longer work.
