See. See how I'm sticking it to 'the man' by doing things...OUT OF ORDER. Even though I owed this for about forever and a half. Um...yeah.

So, the story of this lovely little picture is that I promised the rape mommies that they'd all get a lovely drawing of themselves with their new scar, on a plain background. I lied. I had this in the works since the last rape baby (Loki) was posted on a ref-sheet.

I got SO frustrated with it, I let it go for a long time. Finally, over the past few days, I mucked through it and thar it is. In all of it's kind of pathetic glory. Yeah, it's dark. Thanks for that newsflash.

I tried to convey in this picture the mother-child dynamics of each pair, as well as some subtle things like...Dubheasa being out in the rain (alone aside from DS) because she was the only one to reject her child. Thane is laying down and looking off wistfully towards DS...because she's the only one who is anywhere near comfortable with him Sick as it is. Just think about all of this while you look at this picture. It might distract you from how ugly it is.

I hope you chickies like it though. I put a lot of effort into it, in spite of how it looks.

This is great! I love the placements (poor Anshar, gettin' rejected by Mom) and how much thought you put into them.

Words can not express my complete and utter joy when seeing this Ange,dispite you not liking it I just cant get over how amazing this is,the shading the mood the mothers and foals,DS's presence not to mention the OC interaction (especially my gorgeous Thane,I love her wistful look abd protective stance covering Tiamat with her stump)...I cant say enough about it Ange...its just beautiful <3

It's just that it took me so long, I redid the background countless times...I guess I expected a miracle. Tiamat is looking at her like "HAY. BAD MOMMY."

For some reason I really like how Thane & Tiamat look. I particularly like the colors and design -- very pretty. :3

Okay, back to the awesomeness that IS this picture. OMFG. Ange this is soooo incredible. The shading on the whole picture is just lovely and lololol....DS with his obsession for curly haired mares. xDD And spots and the like too, don't forget the spots. Seriously, there's so much colour in this and I love colour, I can't stop staring at it. Freakin' awesome job on this, Ange. <3

I took a long time on the shading to try to make it as nice as I thought possible, with as much detail as I saw fit. Lol, yes his curly haired mares. All of them. And their spots. xDD Oh god, how predictable DS.

I really love the way you shade your pictures now, it's really pretty and gives some texture and depth into the pictures.
And I'm glad you finally finished this, I hoped to see it and it went out so pretty!
The tree looks awsome, I like the shading and texture on it.

And DS, how he's watching over his new children.

I have one question about the journal CSS commission, could I change it into a picture request? Because I don't have any serious interests in making my journal pretty and a picture would be nice aswell :]

Yeah I think a full colored picture of one char with background is 20-25 $ worth so I think we could find something for that. I'll write you a note to this :]
