Really plain & choppy.
I don't get what everyone is talking about, this is not A+ material and DP probably knows that. I mean sure he has a lot of good designs but this is not something to gawk at, no offense man.

I know but I think the text, colors, and reflections were poorly executed though, just what I think

Well the text is simply standard fonts...the colours are pulled from the picture itself and there are no reflections in this piece at all. But thanks for the B.

Now that's a nice CSS Journal layout! ^^ If I had a subscription, I seriously would consider using this one. Looks damn good!
But I wonder a little, how's the license? Are one allowed to modify it in some way? Change pictures, or something?
