Description
Part of my KOF Redux series.Billy Kane from Fatal Fury and KOF. Billy was such a pain in the ass to fight in the original fatal fury, but he was still a pretty cool and unique character. When everyone else was doing Ken and Ryu clones SNK busted out the Staff master from England as a sub boss, pretty unique if you ask me.
I didn't really have any predefined goals for the REDUX, Billy is a pretty well defined character, but SNK always just throws on a short jacket and jeans and calls it a day. So I just wanted to make the rest of his outfit (other than the bandana) more unique just for his character.

ya i agree nice outfit and looks cool they way his hairs are out and i was furious that day when i couldn't defeat him damn took me hours or days i played likw mostly with every character to defeat him in fatal furry wild ambition in ps1

Glad you kept the bandanna, it isn't billy without it. Always felt he got the short end of the stick (ha!) when it came to SNK. He's the right hand man of Geese Howard, he should be just as famous as Terry.
The one sleeve thing kinda bugs me, but otherwise I like this look.

Seeing this makes me wonder why SNK didn't try more in updating costumes. I like the design! The placement of the union jack is awesome!

I believe that Billy Kane made a cameo appearance on the London stage in Capcom vs SNK 2.

Of course, of course, a favorite. I always liked Billy Kane, and your picture is one of the few pieces that does him well. Although he could stand to have a more tough looking face, everything else is positively wonderful. He has a more refined, more British, look here. Plus, it's also nice to see a guy who doesn't need to be symmetrical.

Looks strangely awesome. 
The jacket one side short and other long looks like one for offense and other defense, that reminds me of the gunners/gunman of Monster Hunter series.

I like that it's still immediately identifiable as Billy. It doesn't seem like a huge overhaul, but it's a very nice, tasteful costume for him. Well done.

Yeah, it was either I go super crazy with him or I keep him relatively close to his in game counter part. I am not sure how many people would get the character if I changed him too drastically.

Love the texture on the pants. You should add textures like that more often, it really gives your art an extra depth.

Yeah, its hard to get texture to fit with the colors, I have only really tried it a couple of times. It's fun, but I want to make sure it's not too distracting from the actual art.

he always did use a three section staff just his came together to be whole. I mean some of his moves show it as the three section >.> and with a long chain to toss it outwards

Hehe well I remember seeing KOF 2000 (I think). I wanted to get it but it was part of a 3-game pack (the other two games looked lame) so I couldn't get it
