Hitsugaya, after fighting against Shawlong, a common arrancar, was seriously injured. Then Renji said that a simple arrancar is so powerful... and now Hitsugaya is the queen of the world when he's fighting agains the 3rd Espada? NOOOOOOO!

My gosh! I just read it and he doesn't even mean it that way! He means that he doesn't have to wait for water in the air to manifest in battle, instead he can use water from anywhere. In other words "heaven is under my control" = I have control of all the water from the Soul Society and Earth. I don't need water by me, just as long as it's there.

Yeah, I just think Hitsugaya is awesome. I know many people dislike him because he is a tad arrogant but he's a genius and I think he has to be a bit arrogant for the other captains to respect him. I mean compared to the other captains, he is like what? 12?

He might just be a kid but he is supposedly a genius that comes every few years. Seriously it says this on every character profile I have read for this guy. He might be a little arrogant but he has a good reason to be. Anyways he is not all that arrogant compared to some of the other captains.

I don't think he's all that arrogant (for a captain,anyway... look at Byakuya for arrogance), but I do agree that it would be lame if he won. I was kind of hoping that his arm had actually been cut off... this is coming from a Hitsugaya supporter, by the way....

Ever since his fight with Gin, Hitsugaya has been continually nerfed, making people forget he's "a prodigy" or even a half-decent Captain o.o Originally, he could control the weather, the dragon was bigger/more powerful, he could match Gin in terms of swordplay, and his reitsu alone was enough to push back Izuru. Yet, this same character struggled against a Fraccion and a 10th Espada ._. It just seems Kubo decided to stop nerfing Hitsugaya.

I agree with you 100%. Although I've been promising to hate Kubo for all kinds of things, mostly letting Hitsugaya and Ichigo get all god-mode and stuff.

I know sasuke is arrogant, but I like the character more than hitsugaya (more more and more XD)
but... is the 3rd espada! the same hitsugaya said that if aizen had created an arrancar from a vasto lorde, it would be the end... then he had problems to fight against shawlong, and now he's winning against halibel, who's so much strong than shawlong...? please... the water is not enoguh for me xD

noooo..My favorite is halibel (actually ...I begin to see bleach thanks to her)..I think..halibel have another resurrecion form like ulquiorra ...I dont like hitsu..But I dont hate him...For me is another normal character.....but I hate hate sasuke with all my force...Is sooooo Gary-stu

THANK YOU! This basically sums up most fans' dislike of Hitsugaya: He's an arrogant little prick. Just looking at previous fights he was in compared to Ichigo's fights and the ranks of Espada shows how little Kubo remembers the stuff HE wrote. Still, go Halibel! (I reject Harribel)

Yes, I agree... the fighting level of the characters who fight in teh SS is so unbalanced... but hitsugaya the most!
