Warning: For those of you with no sense of humor, there's nothing I can do to help you.I am so going to hell for this... or reincarnated into a slug or something. I got into a religious debate on the forums again. And when I asked the person if they believe in the Juedo-Christian God, what reason do they have for not believing in the Gods of all the other cultures, I thought up this joke. As soon as I was off the forum, I went right to work on this one. I really should have gone to bed an hour ago, but I just had to finish. For those of you who are about to ask, the Deity appearing is Shiva. Thus the guy fist-pumping on the last panel would be a Hindu.

Haha, yes that's why I simply try and not make any hasty assumptions. If I just appear confused enough on the matter and don't actively reject anyone too strongly, maybe whoever it is, will be somewhat lenient then.

Someone did a "welcome to hell" bit at a talent show. my favorite part was when the guy said "christians and catholics, go stand next to the Nazis." everyone went quiet. and then he said, "it turns out, the jews were right." this reminds me of that moment. This is hilarious, because we all just hope we are right, but we don't know until we die.

Actually, i think you're quite mistaken. Catholic is part of Christian, Funny thing that most people in American confused about that. Those that you're called Christian was actually Protestant or others branches of Christian. They are one and the same, only small differences such as the way they express themselves. Judaism is complete different thing.

That may be true that many forms of Christianity today had originated from Catholicism and Protestantism, but many people including myself still regard it to be separate religions despite both being considered to be two sides of the same coin. And yes, the Judeaism comparison might have been a bad analogy. Sorry

Well, the problem is it has been become a general thing that some people does not know that Catholic is Christian. I mean the word Christian should be self explanatory, they're all believer of Christ.

Yes, but some believe that their practices are what set them apart. After all, you don't see every Christian church with a confession booth and nuns. I have seen some of their practices before whenever I had attended a funeral at a Catholic church. Granted, not many of them, but still. They may share most of the same beliefs, but the customs they have are what make people think that they are separate. OddΒ considering how Mormonism basically has their own customs and systemsΒ and has more differences with Christianity than Catholicism does, yet is still considered by many to be another form of Christianity. I'm not saying anything bad about Mormonism, but I'm using it as a comparison.

Oh... I understand what you call Christian is Protestant. Well not saying anything bad about them, but the original name mean they protest against the way the Catholicism express themselves, so they separate away from the Catholic church and consider themselves true christian. Many of them hate the word Protestant. But they are quite the same, confessing to god - well the catholic want them to say it to a father, it more like a psychology thing, you need more courage to confess something to another person than saying it by yourself - . We can consider any forms as a form of Christianity if they acknowledge Jesus Christ as a prophet. That is the start of Christianity. The rest i would say " Tomato " " Toma to" it is depend on how people feel more comfortable with. The catholic is old school, they like to reenact and ceremony. There are some misunderstanding between sides due to poor knowledges.

Funnily enough, its the other guy in the comic (the one who starts insulting other people's beliefs) that makes me ashamed of being an atheist.
