nice pencil work, the shade isn't too strong below the hair line and the tone for the hair is done well
another deviation from her normal attitude of calm and collected, is this after Hanyuu separated from her?

being a queen carrier has a nulificatory effect so she was a regulator of sorts

strangely enough she keeps hinamizawa syndrome at bay just by being alive (its effects are dampened while the affected are around her), hence why satoko doesn't go homicidal (her pushing keiichi off the bridge was caused by Rika's death) even with all thats happened to her and the only one unaffected by this fact is shion because how strong it is within her

Thanks this was from one of the arcs in Kai when she begins to suspect Takono/Irie, etc and she briefly wonders if she is being affected by the Syndrome. But yes, I like a little bit of madness in her momentarily as she panics.

She is a very important and deep character. It was all very cleverly done

kai is the first spin-off sequel isn't it? either way im only on episode 21 of the first series (does the focus shift back to arc 1 the rest of the arcs were just place a mirror after arc 3 and thats was the answer arc order)

i didn't realise how heavily the focus was on Rika till keiichi found her split open, poor girl so cute yet turned to crow feed

Ah I see. I think it will be clear how important she is once you read/watch Kai. The arcs continue but you focuses on Rika. I cannot explain without ruining the plot so I suggest you just watch it.
